At Flirt Fitness you’ll learn to pole dance in a safe, systematic, progressive format. You’ll learn various transition moves, spins, mounts, inverts, combinations and routines from basic to advanced. You’ll learn how to do seductive floor work, lap dance techniques and you’ll learn moves straight from the strip clubs.

WHAT TO WEAR:
A form fitting tank top/short sleeve top, work out pants (or shorts) and socks for the first few sessions. As you progress, you will definitely want to wear shorts and go barefoot for the skin/pole adhesion necessary for more advanced moves. For the adventuresome, sexy outfits and footwear is strongly encouraged. Whatever you choose to wear, make sure it’s something that flatters your body type and makes you feel attractive. NO HAND MOISTURIZER, PLEASE! It will make your grip too slippery. If possible, avoid moisturizing any body parts that will come in contact with the pole, i.e. arms, back, legs, for at least a couple of hours before class.
WHAT TO BRING:
A towel, water, an open mind and the desire to have LOTS of fun.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
All classes begin with a fun, simple, sexy dance-type warm-up (don’t worry if you can’t dance, as long as you keep your body moving!) to warm up the muscles and light/dynamic stretching of all major muscle groups. Proper stretching technique/form is emphasized. The last few minutes of every class are used to cool down and stretch again, with an emphasis on improving flexibility.
YOUR FIRST CLASS: The focus of your first class is to get you comfortable moving around and working with the pole. The pole will eventually become the best dance partner you’ve ever had! You will learn basic moves around the pole, (keeping your feet on the floor at first!), how to get down to the floor, what to do once you’re down there, and how to gracefully get back up again. You will learn how to pose, present and move your body in order to show off your greatest feminine assets. You will also learn your first spin.
ABOUT THE CLASSES: Everyone is encouraged to progress at their own pace. While the moves are presented and taught in a clear, systematic manner, the class is very informal with lots of interaction, laughter and great music. A sense of humour is a must! The first few classes are mostly about learning the correct mechanics of the basic moves and spins, and then connecting them together. As you progress in your mastery of the moves and in your ability to perform them congruently, the classes become progressively more challenging, especially to the upper body and core.

1-hour semi-private - $30.00 each
1hour 3 persons - $20.00 each
1-hour 4 persons plus group session fee dependent on number of participants

Due to the nature of pole dancing/seductive dance, semi-private and group participants are strongly encouraged to recruit like-minded friends to share the experience with.
