About Us

Intensely passionate about health and fitness, Rebecca has been involved in the fitness industry for over 12 years.  Her many clients benefit from the practical knowledge she has accumulated while preparing to compete successfully in both natural bodybuilding (2nd NGA CAN-AM Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships) and figure competitions (3rd 2004 Ontario Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships).   She has been certified by the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP) as a Certified Fitness Consultant (CFC) and by the YMCA as a Certified Individual Fitness Consultant.  A popular, high-energy, highly motivated group instructor, she has also led various fitness classes at a number of local gyms.

Currently a volunteer Physical Activity Advisor (PAA) for the Niagara region she is dedicated to educating the sedentary population on the numerous health benefits of an active lifestyle.

Rebecca is an accomplished equestrian, schooling at a Prix St George/Intermediare level with her imported warmblood gelding, “Tempest.”  She has been training classical dressage with multiple Olympian Cindy Ishoy for over 7 years and has shown successfully at a national level. She has instructed many students herself in basic dressage.  Uniting her love of horses and fitness, she has presented sports specific fitness seminars to the Canadian Young Riders Dressage Team and to Adult Amateur Dressage Camp attendees.

As an advocate of health and wellness, Rebecca believes that optimal fitness is dependent upon the positive integration of both the internal (spiritual, mental, emotional) and external (physical).  She has been a level 2 Reiki practitioner since 2005 and as such, strongly encourages her clients to develop on all levels of being.

Her participation in kickboxing and the martial arts – she is preparing for her purple belt grading in Goju-Ryu karate – further reinforces her understanding for the need of healthy mind/body/spirit development and discipline.

In 2008 Rebecca created Flirt Fitness, a studio based, service oriented business providing cutting edge personal and group training services as well as pole dancing/seductive dance instruction. Designed to provide customized, maximal results within a minimal time frame, Flirt Fitness also encourages participants to create a strong social support network with each other. Her wide range of female clients benefit from her compassion and understanding in regard to women’s body and self esteem issues.  Utilizing strength training, pole dancing and seductive dance techniques as forums for addressing these areas, many clients have experienced a sense of personal empowerment - as well as a great physical workout - under Rebecca’s instruction.

With a highly diversified and loyal clientele base, Rebecca has had the opportunity to provide personal training services and fitness programs to women of all ages, from all walks of life and fitness levels.  From a five time Olympian to marathon runners, jockeys and volunteer fire fighters to expectant moms and new moms, from sedentary women to women facing serious health issues such as chemotherapy, her greatest reward comes from helping her clients feel strong, healthy and empowered – on every level.
